DOT SAP (Department of Transportation Substance Abuse Professional)

Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), is a trained and qualified individual responsible for evaluating employees who have violated drug and alcohol regulations, particularly in safety-sensitive positions. The SAP conducts a comprehensive assessment of the individual’s substance use and mental health, recommends appropriate treatment or educational programs, and helps ensure that the employee meets the necessary criteria to return to work. They also monitor the employee’s progress and establish follow-up testing plans to promote ongoing recovery and compliance with DOT regulations.

Virtual Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy is a process through which you can work one-on-one with a trained therapist to explore challenging aspects of life and influential memories, which you would like to change, better understand yourselves and others, as well as work towards your desired personal goals. The goal here is to inspire change or improve quality of life.

Clinical Supervision

Amber’s Clinical Supervision is available for Social Workers in both South Carolina and North Carolina who are seeking state licensure. Clinical Supervision is also available for Drug and Alcohol Counselors in South Carolina. Clinical Supervision is design to provide direction to the supervisee, while utilizing knowledge, skills, competencies, and ethical content within their practice setting. Sessions are offered in a one to one and group settings, which are accordance with state guidelines.

Tailored to various audiences, these engagements cover topics such as coping strategies, the importance of seeking help, and fostering supportive environments.
